Animal Communication-Amazing Facts About Your Pet
By Lucy Pin 4552
Animal communication is a popular subject. Many people ask our psychic advisors if they can tune into their pet. So, to celebrate World Animal Day, we thought we’d share some knowledge about how wonderful it is that animals can tune into us, and vice versa.
We would love to know what animals are thinking, wouldn’t we, particularly those of us with beloved pets? But what do animals really understand about us? Have you ever wondered if your cat or dog is psychically picking up on your emotions? What your pet can sense and understand about you?
SIGNS OF BONDING
Have you ever noticed that when you are feeling under the weather, or perhaps you are just a bit worse for wear, your animal intuitively knows somehow that something isn’t right? They express their feelings by sitting on your lap unexpectedly, or by guarding you in front of your favourite chair. Or, perhaps even by brushing up against you, possibly even hugging you in their own way! In fact, dogs in particular are very good at identifying people’s emotions. .[1]
A professor at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna said that during a study, dogs could tell the difference in expressions of both people they knew and people they had never seen before!
CATS ARE PSYCHIC TOO!
In another study with cats, [2] the cat owners left the room for 2 minutes. When they returned, the cats that felt attached to their owners, continued to explore their surroundings in a relaxed way. At the same time, they still paid attention to their owners.
From this, the researchers could tell that these cats were reactive to their owners. They also studied other cats who did not have the same attachments. Here, the cats showed a lack of concern, even avoidance, when their owners re-entered the room after 2 minutes.
This research proves that cats have their own identity and make their own choices. Also, they have the ability to form secure bonds with their owners. It is also proof that cats are very selective with who they decide form a bond with!
Therefore, according to this study, if your cat greets you when you walk through the door, or even insists on following you around the house, that’s a sure sign! Yes, he or she has definitely secured an attachment to you!
ANIMAL COMMUNICATION IS IT!
Many pet psychics think that we communicate with our pets without even realising it. This is called telepathy. Many animals have a strongly heightened sense of smell, hearing and general senses. So, they are able to tune into “hidden” vibrations. They have a powerful ability to pick up things about their owners.
Animals are also astute to all sorts of smells, that we humans wouldn’t even recognise! For example, your animal will know instinctively who you are, just by being in the room with you. They can even do this when they are sleeping or when their eyes are closed! And this is because they can smell you.
PSYCHIC PETS SCENT!
Have you ever seen a cat tilt its head up into the air and just sniff? Dogs are also known to do this. It is because they are picking up new smells, relating to people, animals, and can even detect signs of danger through this. For example, they may associate a particular smell with a person they do not like. Alternatively, they may sense whether their owner is feeling slightly off beat after returning home.
Wikipedia is very clear about defining Animal consciousness, otherwise known as animal awareness. This is the quality or state of self-awareness within a non-human animal, where they are aware of an external object, being or something within themselves. Animals are sentient beings. Of course, they pick up on the feelings of those around them. So, if you laugh out loud or if you cry, your cat or dog will indubitably be impacted by that. Remember, they have super powerful senses!
PSYCHIC TRICKS
So that you can gain an understanding of the magnitude of senses within animals, according to research, cats have more than 200 million odour sensors in their noses! And humans have just 5 million! Amazingly a cat can also rotate its ear 180 degrees, to hone in on particular environments. Or it can direct attention to a particular sound that you might make, or to one that is of specific interest to it. Cats ears are a little bit like satellites!
What many of us may miss about our pets, is the way in which they choose to communicate. For example, they may hide under a bed or table to tell us something isn’t right. They may even howl for no reason. The trick is to learn how to communicate telepathically with our pets to ascertain the right action.
ANIMAL COMMUNICATION- A PSYCHIC STORY
Here is an example of a lady who told us about her telepathic story with her two cats.
Sally had just moved into a new house and had two grey cats. The female was very house bound and the male was more adventurous. Sally had only recently let them out of the house to play. She noticed that one morning the male had not come in for his breakfast. She called and called but he didn’t come.
Some time later, he was still not there. Sally had ran out of hope. She became so anxious that she went outside and started crying. The female cat got so worried that she went outside too. She started rubbing her head on the back of Sally’s legs to try and calm her. Within a space of 5 minutes of Sally sitting outside and the female cat accompanying her, the male cat arrived.
What is strange about this situation is that yes, the female cat was trying to calm her owner’s emotions, but also that somehow the male cat had picked up that he was being called, not by voice but via picking up on emotions.
PET EMPATHY
So, perhaps it is really is true that cat’s do in fact echo or pick up on our emotions? Another study by the journal of [3] Animal Cognition proves this by using ribbons. Here, it is illustrated that cats reacted differently to their owners based on how their owners reacted, almost to the extent of mimicking! A cat and its owner were put into a room with a fan. The fan had had ribbons attached to it. If the owner acted like the fan was no big deal, so did the cat. If however, the owner panicked and showed fear, the cat did the same thing!
Many of us can already feel that our pets are in tune with our emotions. As they are sentient beings, of course they will take on a degree of our personality and feelings. Like they say, “Owners often act or look like their pets, or vice versa!” Animals are tremendous souls and are just as precious as human souls, if not more so!
If you want to know more about how to build a telepathic connection with your special pet, here is some guidance:

WAYS TO BUILD A TELEPATHIC RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR PET
- Quiet your mind and think about your pet.Tune in quietly as you connect with your guides. Ask for any pet guides to come through. Pay attention to detail, sounds and colours (this may also relate to your pet later on)
- Speak his or her name in your mind and see if he/she responds
- If you want to make sure your pet is always safe, envisage protection around him/her. Ask your guides to show you symbols or colours in your minds eye. For example, you might see a golden bubble of light or two protective angel wings.
- Let your pet know you are thinking of her or him by thinking pleasant thoughts. Take note of any thoughts or reactions that are returned. You may want to do this when it is just you and your pet in the house with their favourite toy, cushion or blanket. Always take note of their response, even write it down or record it
- If you have a cat and are worried about where they might be, you might want to consider Sally’s story. Bring hope to your heart and soul by sitting gently and quietly and sending a peaceful telepathic vibe to them. Let them know you need to know where they are! Quite often if you leave an unwashed object outside they will sense it and return. (Like a T shirt you wore yesterday that still has your scent on it).
- Just making some small efforts at animal communication with your pet can bring amazing results. All you need is to invest a little time and patience!
