Confidence. You want to know all about it? A very warm welcome to you all if you are reading this for the first time. My name is Poppy de la Mare, and my pin number is 6885. I have been with Psychic Pages now for nearly four months and I am loving it enormously. Being part of a team is fabulous.
How I gained Confidence
I have been working in the world of Spiritualism for the last 25 years, having become involved with it completely by mistake! This happened when I was buying a house that had a very interesting energy in it. Through that, I discovered my psychic ability, and from that day forward, it took me on a very unusual journey of learning not only about myself, but the fascinating and very intriguing world of spiritualism.
I always say that you have to grow from the inside out. No one can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul. Over the years that were to follow, I would learn to have confidence to tackle anything that was thrown at me. This came to me slowly but surely. Through success, through accepting and learning from my failures and also through speaking with people and giving guidance. Helping people in need is a great way to build your own confidence.
Gaining Greater Confidence Yourself
One of the most common questions I get asked by my clients is ‘How can I make myself more confident’?
Nobody is born confident and some people spend years building their confidence up. Sometimes, a sudden shock can jolt us and make us lose self-confidence. There are a lot of reasons that this might happen. But redressing the balance (and Balance is a very important word) and rebuilding confidence, can be achieved.
Sometimes in life, we can feel invisible to others around us. Since Smart Phones, Tablets, and Social Media were introduced, a lot of people don’t communicate well with others, preferring to hide emotionally behind not only their friends, but technology as a whole. Some people never really deal with problems that they have caused to others unnecessarily. A case in point is, I often hear of relationships being ended in a text, instead of face to face.
I always say to people, take control of your life and give it some sort of order. Firstly, remember to count the smallest of blessings every day. Are you kind? Loving? Have a roof over your head? This gratitude and recognition of the good things in your life will help you. There are always people worse off than us.
Don’t allow others to tell you what to do. Work out what you want from life and try to stick to it. Make your own rules and stick to them. Tell yourself you can do it and find solutions and a route to achieving. Every so often declutter your brain.
Solve Your Problems
As soon as you have a problem, if at all possible, try to deal with it straight away.
When you have a problem which you think that you can’t deal with, don’t say ‘I can’t deal with it.’ Examine the problem from a different angle. Learn to be confident in your own belief. Don’t pass your problem onto someone else to make the decision for you, because at the end of the day, if that other person gives you the wrong advice, the only person who is going to suffer is you, because you didn’t deal with it yourself like you should have done. Learn to believe in yourself and become a good communicator. Simply making the effort to communicate will consequently breed confidence.
In the future, how brilliant would it be for you to have people walk up to you and say, ‘I wish I could be as confident as you, how do you do it?’
If you would like to talk to me on this subject, or any other problem that you are worried about, my pin number is 6885. As the saying goes, ‘It’s good to talk’.
