Welcome to the last Full Moon of 2021! If you recall, the last New Moon Eclipse in early December was in fiery Sagittarius. This Full Moon comes to us in the air sign of Gemini, which is the opposite zodiac sign to Sagittarius. At the moment, the Sun is in Sagittarius, and it will sit directly opposite this Gemini Full Moon. These opposite aspects of fire and air can be complementary opposites. Or air can fan fire, causing great heat! With Gemini, the sign of the twins, there are often two sides to every story!

The reason the December Moon is referred to as the “Cold Moon,” is because it is often the first Full Moon of the Winter season. It is also often referred to as the “Long night Moon” as it transits just after the Winter Solstice. But this year, we get the Full Moon before the Solstice. We can start to warm our hearts and minds to this busy, buzzy Gemini Moon, that should certainly heat things up!
