Super Moon – August 2022 Spells

The Full Moon is on August 11th and is named the Sturgeon Super Moon. It is written in The Old Farmer’s Almanac that August is a popular time for Sturgeon to be caught in the Great Lakes.

This August Super Moon is a very special time for all of us to take a step back and appreciate what we have.

*crystal bowl/bells/chimes

*fairy lights/ low lighting

Pen to Paper

Using a special piece of paper or notebook. Begin by writing the following words,

Dear……….. (insert belief/deity)

I wish to express my gratitude for (list seven things you are grateful for)

Even though I am so thankful, there are things I wish to manifest or change within my life: (list seven things, experiences or changes you wish to have in your world)

I understand all actions have a reaction, and I agree to take a deep breath and allow the power in the pause. This moment of a deep breath will allow me to react well by tapping into my intuition.

Sign off the writing by a sign-off of your own choice.

“so mote it be” / “blessed be” / “thank you”.

Further Action

If you want to strengthen the spell, you can take further action. Use a plain glass jar and decorate it as you choose. Remember it doesn’t have to cost a lot. Use found objects, from home, from the garden or craft box.

Write the seven items you have chosen to be grateful for on paper and cut them out individually. Also, write the seven items you desire in your manifesting and cut them out individually.

Fold or roll the 14 pieces and place them into the jar. Each day, start by taking a deep breath and removing a piece of paper from the jar. Read it out loud if possible, if not in your mind.

When you read the paper, you can choose what to say. Remember some things you are grateful for and others you request to manifest into your existence.
